Cheapsmells Haul

I promised a haul but i'm still waiting on a couple more orders from cheapsmells.com so i'm going to have to do these as the packages come in the mail. Here's the first one:

The first thing i got was this Oscar De La Renta fragrance. It has floral notes and some earthy notes,  I wouldn't say its sweet smelling or very girly but I like this one because I have a lot of sweet smelling perfumes and its nice to have a toned down one. 

Second thing is a MAC Eye Kohl pencil in White. I've been watching a lot of makeup videos on youtube and one of the tips to make eyes look bigger was to put a white/flesh toned liner on the waterline so I thought i'd give it a go and it works only a little bit but it definitely made me look fresher and more awake which is a really good thing for me.

So thats it for the time being. As I said i'll talk about the other products as they come in the mail.

Making A Comeback In 2012

So its been a very, very long time since i've put any new posts up. The main reason for this is because I don't have as much time as I used to and just haven't been finding any new sites that I like until now. Since my last post I was promoted at work which explains the lack of time to do new blog posts but I've been doing ALOT of shopping so I came up with a new idea where I would talk about new websites and then do a mini haul every now and then. So here goes.....

Recently I have bought things from feelunique.com which is based in the UK. They mainly sell beauty products but they also include things like fragrances and skincare/self tanning products. They ship internationally for free also which is a bonus!

The Professors Online Lolly Shop

Ok I know this is completely different to what I normally blog about but I stumbled across this website and thought "OMG I have to share this!!" . So you've probably guessed what they sell...yes candy....glorious candy!!  They sell lollies from USA, South Africa, Canada, Spain, Australia, South Korea, UK and New Zealand. This is awesome for me because the supply for these sorts of candy is limited here in Australia. 

So here's an idea of what you can get:

Designer: On A Budget

Before I started writing this online shopping blog I used to steer clear of designer brands because they were just going to be too expensive and I would never be able to afford any of the stuff in a million years.

These days when I'm hunting around the internet for websites to post on my blog I realise that some designer sites have some pretty decent sales. Sometimes they may be a little exxy but I can always save money for those items.

Its sometimes a good idea to sign up for mailing lists (this is the good type of junk mail) so that you know when these sales are on and sometimes they give member exclusive discounts.

LPD

LPD (short for Little Party Dress)

Little Party Dress is an ebay store run by a lady who lives in Sydney, Australia. Not only are there lots of really cute party dresses, they also have clutch bags to match!

Now, I don't really go clubbing/partying very much. I've gone way past that age and actually its not like I ever did much of that when I was younger but I found a really cute dress that i'd even wear during the day when I'm out shopping or in the city. Right now I love wearing dresses just because its so easy to put on and its really easy.
