Threadless Tees

Oh My Goodness! I can't believe I haven't written about this site earlier because I have bought many tees from this site. Anyway, if you're the kind of person who likes the geeky look or just likes wearing something a little different this is for you. http://www.threadless.com/ sells shirts for men and women with cool designs that are created by random people who have an idea for a design and then they submit it and hope to get chosen and printed on threadless' tees.

Also, they're really affordable (tees range from under $10 to no more than $20) and shipping is cheap especially for international shipping.

Another cool thing is that if you join their online community and you buy shirts you can post pics of you wearing the shirts online and you get threadless credits which you can save up and buy more shirts with! How cool is that!
Note: beware this site can cause serious impulse buying syndrome.

New Converse Designs

So I haven't really been writing as often as I'd like to due to the fact that my work life has been so super hectic and crazy but I've found some spare time to write a new post. If anyone reads Frankie magazine, you would have seen the ad for Converse Marimekko. I just think this design is really cool and unique but they also have several other designs out at the moment.

Converse Marimekko.

Super Man Chuck Taylor's.
(If you have a little child friend)

Stars and Stripes.

Or cool Glow In The Dark Chucks.
I love Coverse shoes. They're the quintessential comfortable, go-anywhere shoe and they're stylish.

I Want MOR!

So I have recently found a new love...in MOR cosmetics. Especially the Marshmallow range. I actually found out about it at work when one of my co-workers served a guest who was wearing it and mentioned it to me. The first time I found it at the store I dreamt about one day wearing the fragrance for myself.
Go to http://www.morcosmetics.com/ to see all the collections.

This is the fragrance I wish to purchase one day. It is a costly $69.95 for a 100ml bottle but it smells oh so good. If you can't afford this simply go for any of these products and still enjoy the good-enough-to-eat fragrant aroma.

Accessorise Your Head!

Ok so we all know that sunnies are in (have they ever been out?), especially wayfarers, geeky ones and ones that are a little bit different. http://www.sunglasswarehouse.com/ is a great one stop shop for all your trendy eyewear needs.

At sunglasswarehouse.com they're affordable and the shipping ain't bad either. Right now they're having a 15% off sale. Believe me they have everything! Check it out.

While we're staying north here's another goodie. http://www.meadowlark.co.nz/ has some awesome jewellry. A bit pricey so maybe one to save up for. They've got earrings, cufflinks, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, you name it.

So cool! Great stuff for Twilight lovers like myself.

Valentimes Day

So its V-Day tomorrow. For all you single ladies out there who want to spoil themselves, and so you should, here's some treats you may be interested in.

Your one stop makeup store. They have products from Smashbox, DuWop, Cake, FACEatelier and more.
Its a bit pricey but it really is a one stop shop, they have everything you would need to fill up your make up bag and don't forget you're spoiling yourself.
If this is a bit out of your price range don't dispair I have found others!
This is a bit cheaper and good quality to boot!

To be honest, I just like the name. Its so adorable!
How cool does this sound! Lip Venom. The venom flash goes over the lip venom (gloss) for extra shine. Only $19 for this mini trio. Bargain.
And....
don't tell me you didn't nearly drool all over the keyboard when you saw that pic. Sit down infront of your fave movie with some rich decadent chocolate dessert and a box of tissues. Single? Try not to get too depressed about being alone on V-Day. You've probably heard this a thousand times but there is someone out there for everyone, believe me i've been searching too.
HAPPY SHOPPING!

Tips and Tricks

First things first. For those who are beginner's in the online shopping world here are some things you need to know before you get started.
1. Make sure the site is secure. What does this mean? There's nothing worse than buying from a site that is not secure and you ending up getting ripped off. There are many online retailer's out there that are just out for your money and credit card details. Some signs to help you identify secure sites are:
- Somewhere in the top of your browser where you type the web address there's a lock.
- Some internet security software check sites for you and let you know if they're safe or not.
- The site uses PayPal as a payment method. (for the newbies, join Paypal!!)
- The site has a 100 % secure guarantee.

2. Do your research. Read reviews on the website and its products. Just google it. This way it'll make it easier to make a decision on buying from a online retailer. Some sites have reviews on their sites.

3. Work out your affordability. Its really easy to get carried away when you're shopping online. Don't forget there are shipping costs to consider. Also, make sure the site actually ships to your country. Most sites have shipping costs available.

4. If you're buying clothes, make sure you're getting the right size. Most countries sizes differ from each other and most sites again have sizing charts available for you to look at. It's also probably a good idea to keep a record of what size you are with different brands and sites in case you buy from them again.

5. Obviously you need a credit card or debit card to purchase items on the internet.

6. If you can only afford or like only one item from the particular retailer. There's really not much point unless the shipping is free or really cheap. Why pay for the shipping if your only purchasing one item? Unless the item is expensive/worth alot. Just my opinion anyway. I wouldn't pay $12-$20 shipping for a $10 item.

7. I can't think of anymore tips. So all I can say now is have fun, stay safe and don't blow your wallet.
